The Happiest Place on Earth

What do you get when you mix great friends and a mouse together?!  THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!!  Okay, so we might’ve been the oldest people there with no kids- but when you have a great group of friends and place them all at the happiest place on earth- age ain’t nothing but a number!  This was seriously the #BESTDAYEVRRRR with breakfast in the morning at La Brea Bakery and ending our night together at the Anaheim Packing District.

I’ve never been to Disneyland at 8am before so I wanted to try their cute Mickey shaped pancakes and waffles BUT I didn’t realize you have to make reservations in advance to eat at the Carnation Cafe.  So we recreated our pancakes to look like “Mickey” or more like Mickey’s friend “Mike” and snapped a few pictures of our yummy breakfast- Turkey Sausage Frittata, Cinnamon French Toast, and Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes.

Then we headed to the castle to take some fun shots with our ears ready in hand.  The weather was beautiful and the holiday decorations on the castle looked so pretty against the bright blue skies.  We wanted to maximize our time before the crowds came and snapped tons of shots in front of the castle before it got too crowded!

I’m so glad that my friends are foodies and looked up some hidden spots at Disneyland that people overlook because we wouldn’t expect to find LOBSTER ROLLS in the park.  Theme parks always make me feel hungry, so I don’t even think it was time to eat lunch yet- but who could resist lobster rolls and clam chowder bread bowls with tapatio too!  Mmmm…it was so good!!  Take a look!

It was actually nice that the sun sets early because at 5pm we made our way to It’s a Small World and couldn’t help but notice the millions of lights beaming from across the way!  As soon as you got closer to the ride, your jaw dropped and your happy dance started!  We were there for over an hour snapping away (as you can tell from the pictures below) and tried out different angles so we could get the perfect shot.  Then on our way out, we stopped by the castle again and this time the night shots were just magical!  It gave the castle an entirely different look…it was so pretty!!

It was time for dinner, so we headed over to the Anaheim Packing District to grab some food and dessert!  It was my first time there and talk about cute!  The space is brightly lit up, there are plenty of nooks where people can sit and eat, and the variety of foods looked great.  If you’re in the area, stop by and check it out!  There’s so much to eat and see and just enjoy! I loved it!!
