For one quick getaway before the baby arrived, Peter surprised me with a trip to Montecito…and not just any trip…but a getaway to San Ysidro Ranch! We’ve stopped here many times on our way to Santa Barbara to enjoy the property and grab a bite to eat at The Stonehouse– but my dream has always been to stay the night. Well, that day finally happened. And in January we arrived to the #1 hotel in America and stayed in a one-bedroom suite with its very own rain shower and hot tub! Uhhh-mazing! As soon as I entered the property, I couldn’t stop “oohing and awwwing,” because every corner you turned was absolutely stunning!
The best part was room service! I never wanted to leave our room because it was so comfy. I ordered the biggest breakfast everyday and everyday it tasted as fresh as can be!
So we did leave the property because I had to stop by Mc Connell’s for some fresh ice cream! I even went to the market to see if they sold some pints there! It’s seriously the BEST ice cream!
It was so amazing to have our last getaway at San Ysidro Ranch. We are so lucky that it’s less then two hours away and hopefully one day soon we can take Reece there too!
