The Broad Museum

If you’re in downtown LA and are looking for a new adventure…The Broad museum is an awesome place to check out! The Broad just celebrated its one year anniversary and I’m embarrassed to say that this was my first visit there!  Our friends reserved tickets for the free Family Weekend Workshops and it was so

Looking back at 2015, I had so many favorites that I wanted to share!  It was truly a great year!! Meeting my balloon icon Jihad in front of her shop!  I love red and I love lace- so the combo of these two in this Free People dress was perfect! Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary 24 hour

Crusin’ Down the Street…

The best thing about living in LA are the new places and historic landmarks that are literally walking distance from each other.  If you happen to be going down Fairfax Avenue, your first stop should be the Original Farmers Market.  There’s so many hidden gems and great places to eat inside. As you can see,

Back to School!

Welcome back to school! The best part about heading back to school is being able to get new supplies! Teachers love agendas, pencils, post-it’s, new pens, and calendars galore! So how excited was I to see some new desk calendars and a collabo by Day Designer and Blue Sky that launched into Target last month?!  Not only

Quick Getaways

I love living in LA because it’s nice to be able to getaway for a weekend without taking a plane and traveling far. Our annual family trips include a couple of days in Vegas and a couple of days in San Diego visiting the Safari Park. So first up…VEGAS! Who doesn’t love sin city!??  My family

Once Upon a Baby Shower

Our dearest friends, Susan and Ken, are about to welcome their first baby! Yeah!! Susan is almost eight months pregnant and looks absolutely amazing- she is definitely glowing!  And to celebrate, we thought a book-themed baby shower was a great way to stock their shelves with stories they’ll love to read with baby Harper for years to come.

Party Like a Pineapple!

This past weekend we celebrated Baby Paige’s First Birthday.  Her parents (Laura and Grant) are from Hawaii, were married in Hawaii, and love Hawaii- so it was pretty easy to choose a theme for the party…PINEAPPLES! Luckily, pineapples are everywhere so choosing a color palette and thinking about decorations were super easy- Laura chose yellow and white.
