I love living in LA because it’s nice to be able to getaway for a weekend without taking a plane and traveling far. Our annual family trips include a couple of days in Vegas and a couple of days in San Diego visiting the Safari Park. So first up…VEGAS!
Who doesn’t love sin city!?? My family and I love to gamble, shop, and I (especially) love lounging poolside in the 110 degree heat! The Wynn Hotel has got to be one of the nicest hotels on the strip- beds are super comfy, roomy and everything feels so clean. Since I’m not into the ‘daytime’ beach clubs, the pool at the Wynn was right up my alley…nice and quiet! Another reason I love Vegas is because of the department store sales during the summertime! I always find great things at Saks- and this year I picked up three pairs of shoes. I couldn’t resist the 50% off- then take 30% off of that too! Take a look below…
The next annual trip is the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. The animals all seem much happier (than the LA Zoo) and it’s a completely different experience- since we get to see the animals roam around in a wider expanse. It’s great! After our day trip, we had to try the famous Phil’s BBQ for dinner and I loved how they gave stickers to first timers- I had to snap a photo of that! It was the perfect way to end the day!
I absolutely love my family and love spending as much QT with them as possible! Until next year…
