DesignLoveFest 2015

I was lucky enough to attend a social media class hosted by the one and only Bri Emery of Designlovefest!  I was so excited to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon in her studio office in downtown LA.  Not only was she totally cute and funny, but she was so down to earth and had such a lovable spirit!! No wonder she has so many followers!

Here are some tips she gave on how-to step up our game on social media:

1.  Pinterest is still #1 in social media and Twitter is right behind it.  So ‘pin’ original content!

2.  Try to reconfigure your images and think about going vertical in Pinterest and horizontal in Facebook.

3.  No one wants to see the same image in all your social media accounts, so if possible, post different images in all your accounts to gain more followers.

4.  Study other people’s accounts.

5.  Post everyday and there’s no “set” time to post- but just think about your day and the times you check IG and start there.

It was great to sit in a room and be inspired by Bri and many other ladies who are starting or have started their own personal brand.  Thanks for the fun day Bri…until next time!! XX

PS- I was so inspired after the class I created a backdrop with chocolate hearts! hehehe sooo yummy too! (see below)
