To be honest, I’m not a coffee drinker- BUT I love coffee ice cream and anything coffee flavored! So on that note, there seems to be a ton of great local coffee shops popping up everywhere so I went on a little adventure around town to see what everyone on social media was talking about.
First up, Verve Coffee located in DTLA. Not only do they serve coffee, but a variety of juices, pastries, and teas too! We ordered “The Flight” which is a sample of 10 different juices from Juice Served Here. The atmosphere doesn’t get any better than this with wooden tables, a great indoor and outdoor seating area and a killer patio with a wall filled with succulents and greenery galore! Hands down, the favorite from Verve was their “bowl of soul” which uses chamomile tea and steamed soy milk with honey. I can’t wait to come back for another bowl of soul!

Next up, was Dinosaur Coffee located on Sunset Blvd in Silver Lake. Talk about white, clean, modern, and simple. I found out about Dinosaur Coffee while browsing Instagram and seeing all these cool shots of the interior design and the hot pink neon sign above the table. I loved how the wooden planks above the register and throughout the shop resembled puzzle pieces of dinosaur bones. The owners and workers were very nice and knowledgeable and my pot of Oolong Tea hit the spot!
