Valentine’s Day Fun

Valentine’s Day started off with a quick trip to the flower mart because I wanted to create an ombre arrangement of carnations. I didn’t even have to go into the flower mart and pay the $2 because carnations were flooding the streets and I found some that were super cheap- $7 for 2 dozen.

Next, I wanted a light breakfast so I fancied up some toast with initials and hearts.  Then my Sugarfix friend Kristene gave me some Laduree jam (all the way from Paris).  This was our first time trying it out and of course, it was really yummy and not too sweet at all!

Then we were on our way to the Grove for the pop-up shop I’ve been waiting for…Rifle Paper (my fav) and Paper Crown did a collabo for Valentine’s Day and made the prettiest shop in the lobby at the Grove.  Unfortunately, I didn’t meet LC or Anna Bond but I shopped their new line and picked up some pretty prints, cards, and wrapping paper.  I seriously wanted to buy everything- it was sooo amazing in person!

And then the best part…I got a surprise from my hubby!  A new Instax printer with lots and lots of film (he knows me so well)! It’s so easy to use and compact too!  I love it!! I can’t wait to print my favorite pictures and start making some wall art of my own!

Hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day with your gals or special someone! Can’t wait for next year!!
