JULY!! This time last year we were in Italy honeymooning and trying to take in everything we could! By far, the most accommodating and luxurious hotel was set high above the Mediterranean Sea in Ravello- Hotel Caruso. I had my eyes set on this hotel after seeing pictures from my friend Terren’s wedding here a couple of years ago!
As soon as you arrive and check-in, there’s a platter of fresh fruit with a note to welcome you to their hotel! When you’re visiting the Coast, everything is super fresh and is literally picked from their backyard! We were able to stay for one night in their garden villa where the room resembled a converted cellar and to our surprise, after dinner the hotel turned our room over and sprinkled rose petals and candles everywhere to create a romantic honeymoon setting (my friend Terren had something to do with that, thanks Terr!!) It truly was amazing! The next night, we were upgraded to their two level suite with a view of the sea. It seriously looked like a postcard! The moon’s reflection was absolutely breathtaking on the mediterranean sea and the lights shining from the coast added another magical layer to create a luminescent effect. WOW. That night there was an intimate wedding celebration in the gardens (and you know how much I love weddings) so we were able to enjoy the festivities from our room! I just love weddings!!
Everyone should feel like they’re on top of the world when they visit Ravello and stay at Hotel Caruso! We surely did!! Stay tuned for more pictures from the hotel
