Living in Downtown LA has been great because new restaurants have been popping up like no tomorrow! There’s seriously a new spot opening at least once a month! That’s great for us because we’re literally a hop, skip, and a leap away from all the new places and it feels nice just to stroll through downtown and explore our neighborhood. The first stop was to Nozawa’s new hand roll bar called Kazunori Sushi (http://www.kazunorisushi.com). This place had fast service, yummy hand rolls, and all for a great price! I’ve been back about three times already for a quick bite and it’s super consistent and taste fresh. Definitely worth trying if you’re craving some hand rolls!
Next stop, was around the corner on Spring Street to The Last Bookstore. Being a kindergarten teacher, I’m always searching for some good read aloud books and I found one! The illustrations just make you say, “awwww…ohhhhh…awwww” and the story line is super cute! I’m always shopping on Amazon, so it’s nice to actually see a book in person!
Around the corner from the bookstore was our last stop to the Grand Central Marketplace. I already knew what I wanted here…McCONNELL’S! The line was super long but worth every minute of it! It’s always the usual for me…double scoop please with turkish coffee and toasted coconut almond chip in a cone! Never disappoints and I’m so happy they’re so close to home!!! I LOVE LA!!
That dress looks pretty! Great photos, looks like a fun and yummy day!
Thank you!! It was a fun day exploring our neighborhood!!! Thanks for stopping by!!!
