Living in DTLA is great because you can always jump into your car and take a quick road trip for a couple of hours and end up either in San Diego or Santa Barbara. So on Veteran’s Day, we had the day off and decided to grab some breakfast and dessert in Santa Barbara. We heard great reviews about Jeannine’s Bakery (especially their scones) and wanted to try their breakfast foods too. Everything was fresh, light, and super tasty! Jeannine’s is a definite YES if you’re ever in the area. And after breakfast, we strolled along State Street and couldn’t resist MY FAVORITE spot…Mc Connell’s!! The kids were big fans too!!
